Today I had my English presentation on Timothy Findley. I really enjoyed doing this one, seeing as he's my favourite author and all...thankfully Valerie traded me, and took Margaret Laurence off of my hands.
The best part about these presentations is that nobody is actually listening, and everyone is staring at the floor, their table, or the ceiling. Generally, this includes the teacher too. Except he was actually listening to me, which was kind of unnerving. I would look up, and there he was, looking at me. He's a great teacher, but he looks sort of froggish, and blinks a lot. And today, he was drinking chocolate milk. For some reason I found this rather amusing, and it was hard not to laugh when he would pick up the carton and start sipping through the straws.
After finishing, I rushed back to my desk and sat down. I was busy circling which quiz questions that would be in the pool of quiz questions, when out of nowhere LibraryBoy hands me the extra handouts and gives me a "Heeheehee, I know you liiiiiike me" kind of looks and walked away.
I think I turned 10 different shades of red.
