"So, you wanna be a group?"

Just when I thought I was sort of-maybe-over my LibraryCrush, it hit again. Hard. I suppose it started last week in children's lit, when he did his picture book presentation. This is slightly perverse, I suppose. I mean, being sort of turned on by a 20 year old reading Robert Munsch?

He sat behind April and I today in children's lit, which is where he normally sits. We had a review exercise, then a lecture. As we were perusing the books the prof was passing around, April and I were jokingly hitting and calling each other names.

"Aww, you pretend to be so nice but [April] proves otherwise!"

I went mildly red, and mumbed to myself. Smoooooth.

Near the end of class, our prof gives us yet another assignment, in which we work in groups of 4-6 to create a thematic display. I was half turned in my seat, when LibraryBoy asked if we would be in his group. Uh, you don't have to ask me twice! So it's me, April, LibraryBoy, and another guy.

I say we should do Lord of the Rings, because c'mon, I have action figures! Dan, the other guy, claimed that it's "too pedestrian". I shot him a dirty look [okay, only in my mind], and LibraryBoy piped up "action figures are cool", and proceeded to tell me about his RoboCop action figure, and a little bear that his younger sister gave him that talks when you press it's tummy. Beyond endearing, people.

As we were packing up, he asked for my email address. "Well, I guess there's your school address...but...I dunno...personal might be better...". Of course I whipped out a pen and piece of paper, and jotted it down.

This is certainly one assignment I look forward to doing.

Oh, it's developed further. I'll post about it tomorrow. Amusing indeed!
