I rolled out of bed this morning at 7:30 to much grumbling and moaning. I had my job interview at 9, which went well. The actual interview went rather quick, because every time I paused they'd move onto the next question, which was frustrating. It was really quite relaxed, because they knew me. Then came the practical test. I had to type for 3 minutes, correct a MARC records, and search for items using their online catalogue. First of all, the disk wouldn't save my typing. Then, the catalogue was down. Eventually both got working properly, and I finished. As I corrected the MARC record, I see my cataloguing teacher's face looming over me, lecturing about period placements and other puncuation issues.

I couldn't help but let my mind wander...should I have worn the sparkling sangria red lipstick, or something more muted? When LibraryBoy said he was keen on me, did he mean romantically or as a friend? And when he told me to hurry back, is it because he wants to see my face, or because he wants to watch Finding Nemo again? Damn pantyhose, you're going dowwwwn when I get home!

The most amusing part was that most people didn't recognize me. As one woman put it, "you went all snobby on us!". Heh, appearances can be decieving, I suppose.

They said they'd get in touch by next Friday. Sheeeeeit, I just want to know.
