Today was the man and I's official first date, or so we guessed. Our entire relationship consisted up to this point of me going up to his room at 10:55 to watch the news, then Jon Stewart, and finally Conan O'Brien during which we'd make out like horny high school kids.
We headed downtown, in search of used books and any other fun times that were to be had. Hand in hand we wandered around Byward Market, being followed by a group of white kids with the token ethnic guy playing music and singing about Hare Krishna. I am so going to miss this city when I go back home.
As we wandered aimlessly past parliament, he looked at me out of the corner of his eye, squeezed my hand and said "we should come here when the weather's nicer and make out!...or, you know, just sit, and you know, stare...". Mmm, a true romantic!
Then it was back to the warden [aka April], who was still in her pajamas, watching tv, and cranky, the same state I left her in. Thankfully the man and I are going to watch a movie later, but I can feel the angry vibes coming through the wall.
