Why is it, as soon as you step out of torrential down pour, it stops raining? Bellan came to pick me up for lunch, and it had stopped raining. Of course, as soon as we were going to leave the restaurant it was pouring buckets and we both got soaked. Then, when we stepped into the library, it stopped suddenly. At least he had brought me a change of clothes in case of this, so I didn't have to spend the rest of the afternoon feeling clammy and cold.
Also annoying is the fact that yesterday Joel, the summer student in the kids department came running downstairs confused about who is working up there this Saturday. Over a month ago he and I traded, so I'd be doing what he told me was the 27th, but it turns out he meant the 20th. Nargle! So now I'm working tomorrow, when I really just want to be at home.
At least he bought me a little box of chocolates to make up for the fact that he's a dumbass.

Chocolates can fix almost anything. And please translate: Nargle!
I watched Fellowship of the Ring the other day and thought of you!
Nargle's an exclamation, or just something random. "Nargle, I'm tired." or "That bitch just cut me off, naaargle!".
