I looked over during Field Work Seminar today to see April asleep. We were having a guest speaker from Employment Services coming in to talk to us about how to find summer jobs and post-graduate work.
Albeit, she wasn't the best public speaker, and it wasn't exactly a thrilling lecture. But it was an important one, nonetheless.
And it got me thinking about the different attitudes April and I have towards school. She treats it like high school, instead of career training. She does a half assed job, plays solitaire during class, and rarely pays full attention.
And then she bitches when I get a better mark, and wonders when she doesn't understand things she should. She blames things on our teachers, when most of the time it isn't their fault.
Some days all I really want to do is bitch slap her soap opera style...
