Little corn and sugar bits of goodness

Or so I thought, until now.

I love cereal. Especially the kind chock full of sugar and bad stuff, and in unnatural shapes.

Today at the res store I picked up a box of Corn Pops. I always eat cereal plain, since I stopped using regular milk and soy milk on cereal isn't the greatest. While studying for my Lit quiz tomorrow I ate a few handfuls...first of all, I find it disturbing that Corn Pops melt in your mouth [not in your hand, thank God]. But aside from that, it was all good.

Until about 10 minutes after the fact, when I realized I had the most horrific taste in my mouth.

It took me back to the day after prom, after the night that Kate and I sat on Meaghan's floor, downing vodka and lemonade, eating Teddy Grahams cereal and attempting watch Fellowship of the Ring for the 40 zillianth time. Except the next morning wasn't as fun, since I was woken up after 3 hours of sleep by a cantankerous man demanding fish.

I honestly thought I was going to puke. Because as much as I enjoyed that Teddy Grahams cereal, it sure didn't taste as good the next morning in my mouth.

Corn Pops, you're the devil.
