Exciting news, people!

I just read that The Last Unicorn is coming out on DVD tomorrow. Hot damn! I'm sure this has something to do with the live action version coming out late next year. TLU was a childhood favourite, and years after I forgot the title I could still hum the theme music and could see the haunting slightly crappy animated images in my mind. It was done by Rankin/Bass, those same people that brought us the crap-o-rama animated Lord of the Rings [unfortunately]. Hey, it's double linked to LotR! The magnificent Christopher Lee was the voice of King Haggard, and he'll be reprising his role in the live action. I just have this ongoing fear that Mr. Lee is going to pass away before the movie can be completed...unfounded, I hope. He seems pretty sturdy...
