So tomorrow April and I are off to the mall one last time.
We decided we needed to get our hair done before heading home, because I don't like my mother's stylist, and because April's mom said she wouldn't take her when she came home.
I didn't realize how long my hair was until yesterday. April's been telling me for awhile, but I've paid no mind to that. Then, yesterday, as I was standing in front of the mirror combing my hair after a rather windy walk to the public library, I realized just how long my hair was.
I like it like this, being able to pull it back when I get angry with it, and how it keeps my neck warm in the cold Ottawa winter.
Except, that at the same time, I'm rather annoyed with it.
Since my hair's on the thin side, it's always incredibly greasy in the morning and has to be washed daily. I also continually find hair everywhere, which is disgusting.
I've been wanting a change with my hair, but I didn't want to hack it all off because I had short hair for 6 years.
Then it hit me.
Bangs! I'll get bangs!
Now, I haven't had bangs since the 5th grade, and I'm rather afraid I'll look stupid. So, I decided on longish bangs, that I can sweep off to the side.
I guess we shall see what it turns out like. And hey, if it looks really bad, I can pouf them up like huge 80's bangs and say I'm trying create a new retro trend.
