I'm tired, and cranky, my teeth hurt, and I have a nasty canker sore.
I really want to cry.
Last night after I went offline, I got ready for bed as per usual. I got in bed, flipped on the tv, and waited for sleep to carry me away. Alas, that ship never came. Around 2 I shut off the television, and picked up Blackberry Wine by Joanne Harris which I was halfway through. I finished it around 4:30. Still wiiiiide awake, I flipped through the channels once again. Around 5 the morning shows came on, which just seemed rather odd. Just after six I decided to pop in a movie. After wrestling with my VCR [which for some reason was not plugged in] I remembered that I taped Theory of Flight starring Kenneth Branagh and Helena Bonham Carter. An interesting little story about a man sentenced to community service and takes care of a woman who physically disabled due to a disease. She wants him to help her lose her virginity, and weirdness ensues.
Mr. Branagh, if I contracted some horrible debilitating disease, would you take my virginity? I'm sure your wife wouldn't mind!
And around 7 I got up, ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes, and hit the living room couch. After 10 minutes of some program on evolution I fell asleep and didn't wake up till noon. Oi.
And quite frankly, if my mother doesn't SHUT THE FUCK UP soon I'm going to scream. My God, that woman talks incessantly. She's the only one who ever says anything during dinner. My father and I sit there, not really listening, and grunting once and awhile. And then after dinner, as we were doing the dishes, she was still talking. I snapped at her so she said she'd leave me alone. Five minutes later? A barrage of questions about nothing. *rips out hair*
God, I hope I can sleep tonight. I have to baby sit at 7:30 tomorrow morning. At least it won't be a regular full day, because I have to go to the eye doctor at 4. Oh, and stop at the police station for a record check. They're charging me 25 goddamned dollars for it! I suppose they need their doughnuts...
