On our way to my bank and Rogers, April blurted out that she wanted cake. Then, I wanted cake. And then, we both wanted to watch Under the Tuscan Sun, because Diane Lane's character and her friends eat a delicious looking cake.
After the necessary evils, we headed into Loblaw's. Alas, they had a piddly cake selection seeing as it was 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon, so we skipped it.
We went to the chips/pop/candy aisle in search of cream soda, and wound up with a case of that, as well a cannister of sour cream and onion Pringles, and a bag of Miss Vickie's lime and pepper chips.
Then, we headed over to the dairy cases in search of eggs so we could have a gigantic omelette tomorrow for brunch. The slightly crappy Michelina's frozen pasta things were on sale, 3/$5, so we decided to get 3...which turned into 4 to be an even number, which then turned into 6 so we'd save more...
So in the end, we spent $25 on shit. We're going real grocery shopping tomorrow, which hopefully will result in vegetables and healthy meals.
But for the meantime, I dig the shit.
