This morning April and I set off an adventure downtown. After hearing about the fruit market from Meaghan, we decided we had to go.

After a mildly pleasant trip on the 95 [in which I realized I really, really, really, really love Ottawa] we made it to the Rideau Center. We stopped into gigantic two level Chapters, where I drooled over all the poetry section [alas it was all too expensive] and found heaven in the bargain books. There was a set of Shakespeare in 10 volumes and it's own case for $40, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it.

Eventually we made to Byward where we were halted by a homeless man looking for change. I would have given him some, but his striking resembalance to Charles Manson gave me the creeps.

We wandered around the fruit stalls, but ended up not buying anything. We did go to a cheese shop, The World of Cheese or House of Cheese or something along those lines. Either way, it was a lot of cheese. We did buy a small wheel of brie and one of camembert for $5 [no tax! Huzzah!].

And if you'll excuse me, I now have to roll around naked in my bargain finds.
