Vending machine hijinks:

Cataloguing ended at 2:30 today, so April and I had half an hour before our tutor training session. We decided to sit outside the library and wait. I was thirsty, and she was hungry, but we didn't feel like going down to the cafeteria. We settled for the vending machines, which wouldn't take half of April's quarters nor one of my loonies. Then, after scrounging for change the bag of cool ranch Doritos gets stuck. In that annoying, hanging by the very tip of the bag stuck. I produced another loonie, which unstuck the first bag and left the bag behind it in a precarious position. We decided to leave it, and went back to our spot on the bench.

For the next 20 minutes, we saw five different guys pause and peer at the Doritos, and 3 who stopped shook, banged or hit the machine. It was amusing, to say the least.

Then, someman spent 5 minutes digging through his pockets for change, and trying it with the machine. It kept spitting the quarters back out, and yet he kept trying. He then left, only to come back and try yet again a few minutes later. Did he not realize the cafe was three minutes away? Oi.
