So there we are, April and I, standing on the bus platform watching as the 116 Baseline pulled away. On the other side, that is. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
We went inside, down, around, up and out to the other platform. But after checking the schedule, the 116 didn't come for another hour and a bit. Double shiiiiiiiiiit.
So we decide to take the 97 to Bayshore, then transferring to get to Baseline. As it pulls up, we ask the bus driver if this one goes to Bayshore. No, that one is on the other side. Triple shiiiiiit.
We went inside, down, around, up and out yet again to where we started. The 97 came, we boarded, and I managed to snag a seat, sandwiched between to guys, with a rather creepy man who stared at me until his stop came up. Once the bus was more empty, April and I managed to sit together. We get to Bayshore, and find that we really should have gotten off at Lincoln Fields and picked up the 95, because the 172 at Bayshore stopped running two hours earlier. Quadruple shiiiiiiiiiiit.
So we get back on the 97, where the bus driver sort of laughed at us because he'd seen us get off ten minutes earlier.
But we finally got home. The whole purpose of the trip was to go and see Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. The theatre we normally go to wasn't showing it, so we had to make a trip into unchartered territory. We got to the theatre to find the lineup for BJ2 was horrifically long. April and I were at the head of the second line, until the usher lady told us we could move forward and a group of people butted in front. Boo-urns to the them! There was nearly a chick riot because of that. The movie was excellent, although not quite as good as the first. It was all worth it for Colin Firth and Hugh Grant fighting in the fountain, I must say.
It was a fun adventure, looking back. But at the time...*shakes fist*.

where in HELLFIRE were you?
[i tired to get a feel for this, but i'm slightly confused because i never know for sure where the 95 goes. damn it all to the hell. ps- why am i up so late? pps- why are you up so late? ppps- we could be link sharing you know.]
We were at South Keys. BJ2 was playing at the ghetto Cineplex Odeon. The 95 is the cross-town bus. Baseline to...I don't know exactly, but somewhere across town.
I'm up late because...well...I don't know! I'm going to bed soon, because I'm dead tired. We should make a link sharing date, yo.
P.S. one of these days I'll call you. Not this week, the week after. I'm swimming with assignments right now and barely have time to go to the bathroom.
While in theory that idea would work, anonymouse, I'd still have to change the diaper once and awhile which would take just as long as actually using the toilet.
But I'll keep it mind.
