And so there's only 3 days of field placement left. I'm not going to miss getting up at 6 every morning, but I will miss the library and my co-workers.

First is Katy, my supervisor. Late 30's, English, and disgustingly nice. Linda, late 50's, uber sweet but bitchy when the need arises. And Telma, parent volunteer, Argentinian, classically beautiful with legs up to her neck.

I'll also miss seeing the kids. One of my favourites is Dimitry, in grade 6 but small and pale for his age, always coming in and reading books that would normally be too hard for someone his age. Then there's Guy, in grade 1, faint French accent who loves to draw and spent recess today learning how to draw the monkey from Dora the Explorer. Also all of the kindergarten kids, who kind of blur into one but are so cute you just want to hit them in the head with a hammer. Especially one of the boys the other day, who was dancing around and singing Sweet Caroline to nobody in particular.

Okay, and there's also Mr. C., the resident hawt teacher. Productivity plummets when one of his classes comes in, and he innocently leans over one of the tables to talk to a student...what's a library catalogue again?
