I have the joy of getting up tomorrow morning at 5:30, and getting on the good ol' Greyhound for 6:45. I can't even remember the last time I was up before 10, let alone 7. Bus to Toronto, and then on Saturday up North to Bellan's parents for a week.

I meant to start packing earlier, but I ended up taking a wonderfully long shower, and sat down to watch a downloaded episode of Big Love [which left me happily in tears]. I also tried out Dove's new lotion/self tanner, which I hope doesn't turn me orange or any weird colour. It damned well better be subtle!

I also have to decide which book I want for the trip. I can't choose between Until I Find You/John Irving, Night Watch/Sarah Waters, and The Historian/Elizabeth Kostova. I know for sure I'll be taking The Action Heroine's Handbook, which will teach me essential skills such as running in heels, how to beat a sasquatch, and how to drink a man under the table.
