I spent $182 on bras yesterday. By some small miracle I didn't ralph all over the saleswoman when the total came up, or burst into tears. Ah well, I need them badly and for once I found bras that fit my giant boobs. I suppose I didn't really need 4 bras, but suck it! they were pretty and actually made me feel good about myself.

Bellan had a job interview in London on Tuesday at the place that interviewed us before. We're still waiting to hear from the place in Niagara Falls about a second interview with them. Of course, the woman who did our interviews and would be calling us back is on vacation this week and won't be back until Monday.

Possibly the most exciting event of the week was the discovery of a bat in our basement. Bellan and I were working watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and working on our Puzz 3D of the Empire State building when he noticed a bat hanging on one of the window curtains. Eep! We ran upstairs and told my dad, and he and Bellan went downstairs to capture it. Us womenfolk stayed upstairs, where I sat calmy with the dog and my mother cowered under her blanket repeating "oh my god...oh my goood...oh my..." over and over like a prayer. You'd think the thing was 4 feet high with spikes on it's wings or something by the way she was acting. Now she's afraid of there being "bat cooties" on everything downstairs. My jokes about the bat using her computer and smoking her cigarettes didn't go over well, needless to say.

LOVE the mental pic of the bat using your mom's puter and smoking her ciggies. I would absolutely spazz if a bat was in my house, but I find it charming when they're in the homes of others. :D

Other things that make me spazz: spiders, earwigs, lizards

Earwigs are so gross. There was one in the shower one day crawling across the bar of soap. I still shudder to think about it!

Oh MY GOD! Not on the soap of all places! There was one on my friend's kitchen floor last night, and I think one of her dogs ate it. URP!

Our old dog used to eat flies, barf. Sometimes he'd even catch them out of the air and chew away.
