Last night Bellan and I finally went to the library to get cards and peruse the stacks. I can't believe how much I've missed having a library that feels welcoming and where I don't feel on edge when I go in. Not to mention the decent DVD collection! I got an armful of books and already have a few holds. Gimme!

We had our Christmas lunch for my department at work today. Not only did we get to pay for our own meal, but we have to make up the time we missed. How great is that? There's a company wide after Christmas party in January, I would hope that that one's covered for us. And that if I go, I don't have sit beside my boss again and put up with questions about Bellan's work situation. Yes, he's at Wal-Mart, and he hates it. Why the hell don't you hire him?! You wanted to before!
