//Like sand through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives//

[insert cheesey soap music]

And so the summer is half over. This has been quite possibly the shittiest summer ever...no job, no friends, no life. The only good thing is my ability to read, which has come back full swing from my debilitating slump I had throughout the school year.

And so again I am 12, spending my afternoons with the comfort of literature and badly written soap operas, retaining my lily white complexion. [Then again, being horribly afraid of getting skin cancer, I'm quite proud of my skin].

Tomorrow shall be grand. I am finally getting to see April, which I have been looking forward to for weeks. We will probably go downtown, and peruse the few interesting shops that exist. I rather hunger for interaction with someone who knows me so well, someone who's been looking forward to seeing me as well.

I just want to go back to school. I want to lose myself in the Dewey decimal system, MARC 21, and 1000 paged reference books.
