Scavenging

I went over to Hallmark earlier in order to find something for April. We were there last night, but I didn't want to buy something in front of her [even though she did for me]. As expected, it was bedlam in there. I stifled giggles as I forged for the proper card, one that said everything that I can't but that wasn't over priced or over cheesy. I enjoyed watching the frantic looks on people's faces as they wandered around the store in a haze, trying to find "the perfect thing". I found a decent card, and a little teddy bear I know she likes.

I also decided to go to Rogers and rent a couple movies since I was in the area. It was nice to be alone, and be able to rent what I want. I got Thirteen and Lost in Translation, both movies I want to see but I'm sure April doesn't.

So tonight I think I'm going to schlep around...maybe do a little cleaning, and watch movies in bed with my yeti.
