April slammed down the knife as she exclaimed "I can't believe Claire's dead!".

She nodded in agreement, and we both broke out in a smile. Claire, of course, not being a "real" person. It seems every year April gets me hooked on a different show. In 2003 it was General Hospital [or General Humpspital/All Sonny's Children, as I like to refer to it as] and in 2004 it was McLeod's Daughters.

It's an Australian drama, about two half sisters who end up running their father's ranch. We watch it every Friday night, and since I was going out on Friday for some Phantom of the Opera action I set the VCR making April swear she wouldn't watch it without me.

Thank God I did tape it, because hot damn! it was a good one. And since watching it last night, we can't stop talking/ranting about Claire being killed. And then speculating what's going to happen now on Drover's Run.

And even though our favourite is gone, we'll tune in to see how it goes. I'll also have to remember to keep the kleenexs within reaching distance.

It wasn't fun going to bed with a soggy pillow last night.
