Ahhh, the weekend!

I find in hard to believe that in a scant 3 months, I will be a college graduate. The year's going by at a record pace, and I'm starting to feel as though I'm barely holding on. Every time I feel good for getting a project done, 3 more are thrown my way. The week goes by quickly and the weekends even faster.

This weekend's projects include an article summary about records management, an outline for the hypothetical automation of a hypothetical library, preparing a presentation on a children's picture book and updating my resume.

The other day I joined a library technician mailing list, and BAM! A day later there was a job posting that came through for the library back home. Coincidence, or fate? I'm sure I don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting it, but I'm throwing my name in the ring. Because as much as I love Ottawa, and don't want to leave, it would be nice to go home for a couple years where I don't have to pay rent.

But of course my life isn't as smooth as that, so who knows what'll happen. I figure I'll be living in a cardboard box downtown and begging for change.
