I survived!

I survived a total of 36 hours of traveling, which at least 24 were spent in a super roomy comfortable Lexus. I survived meeting both sets of "in-laws", and various extended family and friends. I survived the bug attacks, which is a miracle unto itself. Swarms of mosquitos and blackflies, I mean swarms. I survived I don't know how many barbecues, and I'd really like a vegetable that isn't swimming in mayo or some sort of sauce.

I spent too much money in Toronto, but I sure don't feel any guilt. Clothes-wise I got 5 t-shirts, a pair of dark green pants [that came with two belts! Two, people! Belt options!], and a cute pair of camo slip on flats. I got Chris Isaak's Greatest Hits, since I couldn't find the special edition with DVD here, and Now and Then on DVD. Three books, The Mammoth Cheese by Sheri Holman [$2.99 hardcover at Chapters], Peculia and the Groon Grove Vampires by Richard Sala [graphic novel], and the second Fables graphic novel.

And whoop whoop, job interview in London [Ontario] on Friday. Bellan's interviewing for the same job, so that'll help our odds that one of us could get the job and we'll be able to leave this hell-hole.
