[Prof. Farnsworth] Good news everybody! [/Prof. Farnsworth]

My neighbour came by earlier today to ask if I wanted to go to work tomorrow. Why yes, yes I would! I don't know how long I'll be working in the office, but it's something to do. AND it's $12 an hour, which is fantastic for photocopying all day.

To celebrate I went out and bought a new outfit of grown up clothes to wear:

Of course all the work I do tomorrow will pay for it, at least the capris and tank top were on sale.

Yesterday as Bellan and I were wandering around the toy section in Wal-Mart, I came across a randomly placed classic good luck Troll doll. I haven't seen one in ages, since apparently the latest thing is "Trollz", their spiffed up new age counterparts. I couldn't resist buying it since I could use some good luck AND purple is my favourite colour, and now it occupies a place on my bookshelf between the skeleton kids from Corpse Bride and Captain Jack:

Sweet.

In some disgusting news, yesterday Bellan and I went a little nuts in the bulk store. Okay, that's not the gross part. I popped a handful of honey roasted soy beans in my mouth [which turned out to be gross anyways], and felt something funny. A long, blonde, curly FUCKING hair was in a scoop we got. It's a miracle I didn't ralph when I made my discovery. If there's anything I hate, it's other people's stray hairs in things. I think the worst is finding hair in library books, especially when you know the book hasn't been out in awhile.

All for now, I must go set the VCR for tonight's elimination episode of Rock Star: Supernova since Bellan's working. We're shamelessly addicted even though we can't stand most of the contestants.

Thanks Andi!

I'm still shuddering about the hair.
